⌜ 32after ⌝ proudly presents:
CINEMATIC DRAMATIC POP.
The band was born with an aim of creating music as a film soundtrack. The story centres around a couple exploring their relationship, sexual desires and what that may mean for them both.
Meeting through a dating app in Berlin, Cara and Mark quickly bonded over their hatred for dating apps and their undeniable mutual love for music.
Early on, they discussed their love of emotional orchestral music, pop melodies and dance beats and how they had exactly the same vision: to blend genres and create something fresh and exciting with a dedicated focus on branding.
The musical couple come from two very different backgrounds...
ABOUT CARA
Cara was born in Berlin and grew up in a very religious household, often going to church and singing in choirs. She is a classically trained pianist and nothing made her more happy than songs from musicals which eventually led her to begin writing her own songs at the age of 14. Her vocal talents became apparent at an early age when she received a sponsorship program from a German music school with an emphasis on playing piano, music theory and vocal training.
ABOUT MARK
Mark on the other hand, was born into a non-religious household in Newcastle, England. He has over 20 years experience playing in bands as a drummer and synth player and has toured in multiple countries. A natural performer who loves to dance while drumming, his love of songwriting began when he started writing songs at the age of 10. He is also a session drummer and most recently played for 2 famous German acts in Berlin; Senta (formerly Oonagh & of GZSZ fame) & John Riot (The Voice of Germany).
Living in a city as open-minded as Berlin has helped the couple to not be afraid to add kink elements to their songs, lyrics and artwork and to mix these together with their love of film and minimal design. The band do almost everything themselves; from learning how to produce their own music, designing and building their own website, filming and editing their own videos and promotional material, to even creating their own font to showcase their vision.
Over the past two years, the musician couple has poured all of their energy and effort into creating a 15-track concept album that contains every inch of their heart and soul and is currently being co-produced by Andi Anderson (Push Pull Production).
Their debut single 'BLACK & GOLD', the band's take on Sam Sparro's smash hit from 2008, established ⌜ 32after ⌝ as an extremely promising up and coming band that you should really be keeping your eyes on...

ABOUT SARAH
Sarah Martin, originally from Dallas, Texas, has performed on stage with Adele, Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion & George Michael, just to name a few.
She has appeared in the film ‘Tar’ alongside Cate Blanchett and performed on film soundtracks such as Marvel’s ‘Wakanda Forever’ and ‘The Little Mermaid’. Most recently, she led Queen Charlotte’s Global Women’s Orchestra as Concertmaster, working with Alicia Keys, and recording and performing a rendition of “If I Ain’t Got You” to celebrate the release of ‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story’.
Sarah has worked with several fashion houses including Gucci, Moncler, and Louis Vuitton, composing and/or performing music for fashion films, commercials and live events. She was awarded with the Best Music 2022 award from Fashion Film Festival Milano for her composition and performance in Moncler’s ‘A Night at The Museum’.
ABOUT PAULA
Paula is a violinist and singer-songwriter from Berlin. At the age of 15 she started recording violin and playing live for several very well-known artists.
In 2023, Paula started her own artist project “Paula M.” and has released three German-Pop singles so far.
Paula’s biggest passion is touring and being on stage with other musicians.
ABOUT MORITZ
Moritz is a trumpet player based in Berlin.
After discovering his love for the trumpet at a young age, he improved his instrumental skills by studying music in Berlin and Dresden.
Moritz loves being on stage with other artists and playing a variety of music genres.
The most important thing for him is having fun whilst performing and that this vibe spills over to the audience.
